Integrated Management Information System Interfaced with Finacle Banking System
1st August 2014 - 15th December 2014
Capital Bank – FMB Group

Design and implementation of MIS – EBA and interface with Finacle Banking System for First Capital Bank – Mozambique / Capital Bank – Zambia and Botswana. Install and implemented the complete Management Information System in each Country and data replication with Head Office [FMB-Group] in Malawi. Centrally managed Procurement system for Branches throughout the Country to order Inventory and MIS reporting at Branch level. Comprehensive Expense Tracking System as an integral part of Budgeting Module.
Develop an Interface to extract data from file generated through Finacle Banking System database (Oracle)
Validate data extracted from the Interface.
Import data through Import Manager to EBA [Enterprise Business Accounting]
Setup and Configure EBA to carryout MIS operations and functions as required using various templates.
Design and implement specific Reports required by Head Office Management for monitoring of daily banking operations.

 

Web based Elections Results Management software

Design and develop Web based Elections Results Management software for results management process including data entry, image capture, data validation, transmission, extraction and presentation. Also, to provide MEC with required interfaces to presentation media via internet and national broadcasting facilities.

 

Title and Deeds Registration System

Department of Lands of the Malawi Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development

A Turnkey Solution - Designed, Customized, Developed and implemented Title and Deeds Registration System for the Department of Lands of the Malawi Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development. Complete automation of all activities of Registration of land purchase, leases and their transactions under the Registered Lands Act., Registration of Deeds, and Provision of Management Information. Among other processes the system will enable the users to hold scanned copies of all key documents in a digitalized format Interact with the archived Titles & Deeds Database to facilitate web access by the public at large, enabling automated inquiry of documents across the operational locations and over web portal. Tracking and monitoring of all applications to enable the management to view progress.

Human Resource Management Information System – HRMIS

MALAWI GOVERNMENT – DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT SERVICES for THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT – CAPITAL HILL

Designed, Customized, Developed and implemented GLOBAL PAYROLL & HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM for MALAWI GOVERNMENT. The system comprises of Payroll, Establishment Control, Employee Data, Pension management, Recruitment, Training, Industrial Relations, and Performance Management. HRMIS is being used in the entire civil service including Malawi Defense Forces and Malawi Police under the purview of Department of Human Resource Management Division (DHRMD) of the central government of Malawi.

Since the implementation of the system in 2006/07, GCSL has been involved in complete re-engineering exercise due to the requirements emanated from the Ministry of Finance, Accountant General’s Department to comply with the new IFMIS Budget and Chart of Accounts. IFMIS interface was changed accordingly to facilitate the new requirements.

To-date GCSL has been taking primary lead in providing first level support and training of the system to current operators in the DHRMD [Department of Human Resource Management and Development. GCSL has successfully completed second level Interface at Accounts Payable Level with IFMIS based on the IFMIS data structure requirements stipulated by the IFMIS Consultants (Soft-Tech).

 

Tobacco Sales and Tobacco Auction Management Information System – TSS
1st November 2007 - 28th February 2013
Auction Holdings Limited

A Turnkey Solution - Designed, Developed and implemented NEW TOBACCO SALES SYSTEM for AUCTION HOLDINGS LIMITED. The system comprises fully integrated tobacco Auction / Sales system through a Wide Area Network to manage and conduct Tobacco Auctions in all action floors spread across the Country, enabling preparation of Gower / Seller information. Web component of the Sale Information provide comprehensive Grower data cycle such as Receipt / Delivery of Tobacco to the auction floors to final sale information.

Total system upgrade with additional functionality for web based Tobacco Receiving Module and Auction Sale information was completed on 28th February 2013
